Should I Redo? If you’re trying to qualify for Games, advance to the Age Group Online Qualifier, or do better than last year, re-testing each Open workout should be your strategy. Approach If you are planning hitting the Open workouts twice, treat Friday as game day. Hit it hard, not like a dress rehearsal or dry run. Regardless of how it goes, plan on hitting it again anyways. The second attempt will have time stamps, stimulus exposure, and transition experience that the first attempt didn’t have. Full speed effort helps you understand the movement combinations and you soon figure out where to go unbroken and where to break up reps. Repeating on Monday Leave no stone unturned! Walk away every week knowing that the score on the leaderboard reflects your best effort. Ignorance was bliss; today we know exactly how much it’s going to hurt. Monday will be a mental challenge, but you’re definitely not alone. The difference is, you should love this feeling, it only comes once a year.

 

THE AVERAGE AMERICAN SPENDS MORE THAN $1,095 AT STARBUCKS AND $1,236 ON CABLE TV EACH YEAR? WE BRING THESE STATISTICS TO THE TABLE BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT NECESSITIES. WE SOMEHOW FIND IT MORE RATIONAL TO SPEND THIS AMOUNT OF MONEY ON THINGS THAT BRING US MOMENTARY PLEASURE, BUT CREATE A COMPROMISE ON OUR HEALTH.

DO YOU DO MOST OF YOUR SHOPPING ON THE PERIMETER OF THE GROCERY STORE WHERE MOST OF THE FOOD IS FRESH AND REAL? DO YOU THINK IT TAKES TOO MUCH TIME TO FOOD PREP? TOO MUCH EFFORT TO GO TO BED A DECENT HOUR TO ENSURE YOU GET ENOUGH SLEEP? DO YOU THINK IT’S SILLY TO INVEST IN SUPPLEMENTATION THAT HELPS GIVE YOU A MORE CONVENIENT SOURCE OF QUALITY NUTRITION, SO YOU CAN SAVE TIME AND EFFORT WITH YOUR FOOD CHOICES? IT WILL TAKE A SERIES OF HARD DECISIONS FOR YOU TO TRULY INVEST IN YOUR HEALTH. BUT WHAT YOU HAVE TO KEEP IN MIND IS THAT $150 GYM MEMBERSHIP ISN’T SO EXPENSIVE WHEN YOU CANCEL YOUR CABLE. SPENDING AN EXTRA $50 A MONTH AT THE STORE TO BUY FRESH FOOD ISN’T A STRETCH WHEN YOU STOP GOING TO STARBUCKS EVERYDAY. NOT HAVING THE TIME TO MAKE IT TO THE GYM GETS A LOT EASIER WHEN YOU DON’T FEEL ENTITLED TO SIT FOR HOURS IN FRONT OF YOUR TV OR COMPUTER WATCHING SOMETHING THAT ADDS NO VALUE TO THE LIFE YOU WISH TO LIVE. YOU HAVE THE MEANS TO INVEST IN YOUR HEALTH, BUT YOU HAVE TO WANT TO MAKE IT A PRIORITY. IF YOU DON’T MAKE PROPER INVESTMENTS IN YOUR HEALTH NOW, YOU WILL EXPONENTIALLY PAY FOR IT LATER THROUGH A LESSER QUALITY LIFE. YOU CAN’T PUT A PRICE ON HEALTH. BE INVESTED.
