Brooke was born and raised in Omak, WA. Sports have been her whole life since age 6 years. It first started with tee ball, then AAU basketball, even flag football. Throughout high school she was a 3 sport varsity athlete (volleyball, basketball, and softball). Brooke continued her softball career as a walk-on at North Idaho College in Coeur d’Alene and soon received a two year athletic scholarship. She graduated with her A.A. in 2010 and made her way down to Ashland, Oregon to finish both her academic and athletic careers at Southern Oregon University.
While at SOU Brooke received another two year athletic scholarship, then graduated in June 2012 with a B.S. in Health and Physical Education. She found CrossFit in August 2012 and completed her Level 1 in September. Already an athlete, CrossFit quickly became a new passion after her collegiate softball career.
“I am so thankful to have found something to believe in bigger than myself and be apart of. CrossFit allows me to compete at a high level, push myself mentally and physically, and be surrounded with so many amazing individuals striving to get better everyday.” What’s not to love about that? It’s always a great day to be a part of the CrossFit Spokane Valley crew!
