We are Moxie!

Moxie means to be bold and beautiful, just like the women of the Northwest! This is a chance for ladies to come together, show off their fitness and celebrate the love for CrossFit we all share. A portion of every entry will go towards the UGM Crisis Shelter for Women and Children in Spokane, WA.

This ladies-only event features individuals and teams of two. This event partners with the Spokane Health and Fitness Expo.

If two people of different age groups team up, they’ll be listed in the most competitive age group. For example, if two athletes aged 36 and 61 team up, they’ll go in 35-45.

“REPEAT” (17.5)

10 rounds for time of:
9 Thrusters
35 Double-unders

Individuals:
At the call of “3, 2, 1 … go,” the athlete will perform 9 thrusters, then 35 double-unders. They will repeat this couplet for a total of 10 rounds. During the workout, only the athlete may handle their equipment, and the rope must be set on the ground while the athlete is performing thrusters. Every second counts in this workout. The athlete’s score will be the time it takes to complete all 440 repetitions. If the athlete does not finish all 440 reps within the time cap, their score will be the time cap plus one second for each rep not completed. 15 minute time cap.
Elite: 75/DU
RX: 65/DU

Teams:
At the call of “3, 2, 1 … go,” athlete A will perform 9 thrusters, then 35 double-unders. They will repeat this couplet for a total of 5 rounds. They will tag athlete B, who will begin their 5 rounds of 9 thrusters, then 35 double-unders/singles. The team’s score will be the time it takes to complete all 440 repetitions. If the team does not finish all 440 reps within the time cap, their score will be the time cap plus one second for each rep not completed. 15 minute time cap.

“SUCK SANDWICH”

WB shots will be shoulder to shoulder with one ball alternating. The bike and the row will be happening at the same time, athletes will perform 20 calories then switch, and perform 20 calories on the opposing machine. The deadlifts will be also shoulder to shoulder ,both lifting the bar at the same time.
Elite: 10 ft with a 20lb WB, 215lb Deadlift (4×45 plates)
RX: 10 ft with a 14lb ball, 195lb Deadlift (2×45, 2×35 plates)
Novice: 10 ft with a 10lb ball, 175lb Deadlift (2×45, 2×25 plates)
Master 35: 10 ft with a 10lb ball, 175lb Deadlift (2×45, 2×25 plates)
Master 45: 9 ft with a 10lb ball, 145 lb deadlift (2×45, 2×10 plates)

“GRACE PLUS”

(A) 0-4 minutes

Individuals:
Athletes will have 4 min to accomplish 30 clean and jerks, any kind of clean will be allowed. If the athlete finished under 4 min they will rest the remaining time, if they are unable to complete the 30 reps the unfinished reps will be added in seconds to the 4 min time. Event A will be its own score. Event B starts at 4 min and has a 6min time cap. Athletes will perform 15 bar facing burpees, chest/knees/hips touching the ground, then jumping or stepping over the bar. Then they will perform 15 box jump overs, Elite and RX divisions will be required to jump with 2 feet, other divisions will be allowed to jump or step over the box.

Teams:
Athletes will have 4 min to accomplish 40 clean and jerks, any kind of clean will be allowed. Athletes must tag when trading positions, they may break up the reps however they want.. If the team finished under 4 min they will rest the remaining time, if they are unable to complete the 40 reps the unfinished reps will be added in seconds to the 4 min time. Event A will be its own score. Event B starts at 4 min and has a 6 min time cap. Teams will perform 15 synchronized bar facing burpees, chest/knees/hips touching the ground at the same time, then jumping or stepping over the bar. Athletes will be standing shoulder to shoulder during these reps. Teams will then perform 15 synchronized box jump overs (2 boxes will be tied together) teams must both be standing on the same side of the box together before beginning the next rep., Elite and RX divisions will be required to jump with 2 feet, other divisions will be allowed to jump or step over the box.

Elite: 95 lbs, 24 inch box- must jump
RX: 85 lbs/ 20 inch box- must jump
Novice: 75 lbs, 20 inch box- may step over
M35: 75 lbs, 20 inch box- may step over
M45: 65 lbs, 20 inch box- may step over
M55: 55 lbs, 20 inch box- may step over
Teen: 55 lbs, 20 inch box- may step over
